# Service

Tips to use services under GNU/Linux distributions based on _systemd_.

## List all services

`service --status-all`

## Status of one specific service

`service <name of service> status`

Example : `service mongodb status`

List of common services : `postgresql`, `apache2`, `mongodb`

## Disable a service

Example : `sudo update-rc.d mongodb disable`
